Sorry no you can't, unfortunately our gift cards are non-refundable.

I've lost my Moon Behind the Hill Gift Card, can I get a replacement?

Yes you can by clicking the "Resend Gift Card" link contained within your order confirmation email that you received when making your original purchase or on your orders details section of your account page. Alternatively you could contact our Customer Service team with your email and/or your order number and we'll be able to advise you further.

How long do I have to use my Moon Behind the Hill Gift Card?

Moon Behind the Hill Gift Cards are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase.

How do I check the balance on my Moon Behind the Hill Gift Card?

Unfortunately currently customers can't check their own gift card balance themselves, however if you contact our customer service team we can send the balance to you.

One4all Gift Cards

Do you accept One4all Gift Cards?

We accept both the classic 'swipe to spend' One4all Gift Cards and the newer 'chip & pin' One4all Gift Cards as a payment option on our stores online checkout.

Please note: there is an online transaction limit of €50 when spending your classic 'swipe to spend' One4all Gift Card online at any online store due to EU's 5AMLD regulations. However the good news is there is no online transaction limit when using your 'chip & pin' One4all Gift Card meaning you can spend as much as want subject to the balance on the card.

How do I spend my One4all Gift Card on Moon Behind the Hill?

Remember, use your One4all Gift Card as a prepaid Visa Card, do not choose 'Gift Card' at checkout. Also please keep your One4all Gift Card in case of returns or refunds which will be refunded back to the original card.

To use your One4all Gift Card on our store please follow these 6 steps:

1. In payment options at the checkout, select the "Credit card" payment option.

2. Enter the 16 digit card number on the front of your card in the "Card number" box.

3. Use your own name for the "Name on card" box.

4. Enter the Valid Thru date on the front of the card in the Expriation date" box.

5. Remove the silver scratch panel from the back of your One4all card to reveal your CVV2 then enter it in the "Security code" box.

6. Use your own name and address for Billing Details. Then complete checkout.

At checkout there is an option for Gift Card, should I use this with my One4all?

No, this option is for Moon Behind the HIll gift cards only, When spending your One4all gift card on our online store please use the Card payment option and follow the steps outlined in the question above.

What happens if I need to return an item/s I bought with my One4all Gift Card?

Please retain your one4all Gift Card as all refunds will be returned to this card. To return an item simply follow our returns procedure as normal, once the return has been received and reviewed your refund will be issued to the One4all Gift Card used to make your purchase. The refund may take up to 7 working days to be returned to your card.

What name and address should I used when asked at checkout?

Use your own first and last name and your own address in the Billing Address section when spending your One4all with us.

Do you accept Klarna as a payment option?

We've partnered with Klarna to give you the option to shop now and pay later for your purchase.

How does Klarna's Pay in 3 work?

Klarna's Pay in 3 allows you to split your purchase into three equal interest free payments so you can spread the cost of your purchase over time.

1. Add your item(s) to your basket.

2. Go to checkout and choose Klarna.

3. Enter your debit or credit card information.

4. To check your eligibility, Klarna will perform a soft search with a credit reference agency. This will not affect your credit score.

5. Spread the cost in 3 interest-free payments. The first payment is made at the point of purchase, with remaining 2 payments scheduled automatically every 30 days.

Please note: you must be 18+ to use this credit offer, Klarna uses soft searches with credit reference agencies. these do not affect your credit rating. Missed payments can affect your ability to use Klarna in the future.

What happens if I need to return an item/s I bought through Klarna?

To return an item simply follow our returns procedure as normal, by first contacting our customer service team. You also have to log into your Klarna account and select "Report a return" so that your statement is paused.

Once the return has been received and reviewed by our warehouse team we will register your return with Klarna who will in turn send you an adjusted statement/invoice with the item removed. Klarna will then refund you in accordance with their procedures. Klarna's refunds will be processed with 5-7 business days.

What delivery options to you offer?

We offer flat rate shipping to worldwide destinations, but we also offer free shipping on orders over €200.

Standard Shipping to Ireland usually takes 1-5 business days and costs €10.00.

Standard Shipping to the UK usually takes 1-5 business days and costs €25.00.

Standard Shipping to the EU usually takes business days and costs €10.00.

Standard Shipping to the rest of the world usually takes 5-14 business days and costs from €17.00 to €90.00 depending on your location.

We also offer FREE worldwide delivery for orders that exceed €200!

Please note that standard shipping times are estimates only, and delivery times may vary depending on external factors. Furthermore, business days do not include weekends or public holidays, and during busier periods deliveries may take longer than usual.

How long does it take for you to process an order before it is dispatched?

Our products are divided into two classifications, ready to wear and custom made.

Ready to wear items are normally processed for shipping by our diligent warehouse teams within 2-3 business days after you receive your order confirmation email.

Custom made items are made to order, production commences after you receive your order confirmation. Production can take between 2-7 days before it is ready for dispatch.

Please check each product page for more specific information on a products processing time. Once an order has been dispatched, a shipping notification email will be sent with tracking details.

Can I track the status of my order?

Yes you can!! You can visit your order status page at any time to check the progress of your order as it's fulfilled. A link to your order status page is contained in all email notifications you will receive about your order including the order confirmation email and any shipping status emails. When an order is dispatched from our fulfilment location you will receive a notification email that will contain tracking information for your package. 

As we have a number of fulfilment locations across Europe and the USA it is possible that your order could be shipped in 2 or more different packages, where this is the case you will receive a separate email for each package dispatched containing the relevant tracking information.

You then have a choice you can use the tracking information supplied in the dispatched emails to track the package on our shipping partners website or you can log into your order status page where real time tracking and shipping status updates will also be recorded.

Do you do next day delivery?

Unfortunately at this time we do not offer next day delivery to any locations.

Do you ship packages internationally?

Yes, we do! We offer international shipping to most worldwide destinations.

Unfortunately, we do not ship to remote locations not covered by standard courier services, nor do we ship to any war torn area. If you're unsure if the destination is one of these exceptions, to avoid any disappointment please contact our customer service team before confirming your order.

Will my parcel be subject to any additional custom and import charges?

It's always a good idea to double check your home country's regulations before ordering.

If your parcel is shipped within the European Union, you won't need to worry about extra fees. However, if it's sent outside of the EU, you may be charged for customs fees or VAT by your home country when you receive it.

We're not responsible for those charges to destinations outside the EU, so we can't cover them for you. Those are your responsibility!

Our prices already include VAT, so if you're ordering from outside the EU, that price will be reduced at checkout.

Where are packages from Moon Behind the Hill Shipped from?

We ship all of our packages from fulfilment locations in Europe and the United States. Our main fulfilment locations are in the European Union, the majority of our items ship from the following EU countries: Ireland, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Lithuania, Germany, Latvia and France. We also have further international fulfilment locations in the U.S.A., China & Australia. We have decided to ship from these locations to keep us close to both our suppliers and our customers.

Packages are sent by tracked couriers—so you can always check your order status page to see where your package is! If there's more than one item in your order, it's possible they'll be shipped separately.

Order Tracking

Where is my order?

Packages are normally shipped via a tracked courier service, so you can rest easy knowing that your order is in good hands.

When your order is dispatched, we'll send you an email letting you know it's on its way and provide the tracking number. You can track the location of your package at any time by following the link in the shipping update email we sent you or by checking your order status page on our website. (If you're not sure where to find this page, just click "My Account" and then "Order Status.")

If the delivery time frame has passed and you’ve still not received your items, please get in touch with our Customer Service team with your order details. Please make sure to send us your order number so we can investigate your order status for you.

Can I amend my order once it has been placed?

The short answer is no.

Once you receive an order confirmation email, our fulfillment team gets straight to work on getting your order out the door. We can't interrupt that process to make changes.

But wait! Don't sweat it—you've got options:

If you need to change your product, you can return it for a refund and then place a new order. Just bear in mind that we cannot refund the original shipping costs or pay for the cost of returning the item if you are unable to avail of our free drop off returns service.

If you want to change your shipping address, please reach out to us ASAP and we'll do our best to change it before we dispatch your item.

What can I do if my order is going to the wrong address?

Please take extra care when entering your shipping instructions at checkout, once an order has been placed, we only have a short space of time in which to amend an address and sadly, if your parcel has already been dispatched, we are unable to change your shipping address for you.

If you find that you have entered the incorrect address, please contact our Customer Service team with your order details and your correct address information. We will try to help you as much as we can!

Where is my order confirmation email?

Once you have placed an order, you should receive an email confirmation sent to the email address you provided at checkout. If for some reason, you did not receive this email, please check your spam/junk folders. If you still cannot find this, please log into your account to check that your order was initially processed, and if you are still having problems please contact us!

What should I do if I've received the wrong item?

We're so sorry you received the wrong item!

If you received the wrong item of course we'll rectify the error without delay.

Please contact our customer service team by phone, WhatsApp, chat or email, and they will get a replacement sent out to you asap. And for your trouble, we'll even give you discount on your next order!

There's an item missing from my order, what should I do?

We're so sorry to hear something may be missing from your order!

We have a number of different warehouse locations, and it's possible that your order is being shipped in 2 or more different packages from these locations. If you have already received some items from your order and are waiting on others, please check the status page for your order and make sure that you haven't missed any additional dispatch notices regarding your order.

If you still haven't received all the items you ordered, please contact our customer services department with details about the missing items and we will resolve the issue for you.

Returns & Refunds

How do I return an item?

Most items purchased from our store are eligible for a 14-day return policy from the date of delivery. This is from the date your order was delivered, not from when you ordered the product.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with tags attached.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Here's what to do:

1: Contact our consumer service team by email at hello@moonbehindthehill.ie

2: If your return is accepted we'll send you a return shipping label as well as instructions on how and where to send your package

3: Carefully pack the item, if reusing the same parcel that it arrived in make sure original shipping labels are removed or covered

4: Place the shipping label provided in step 2 clearly on the outside of the package

5: Send the parcel via courier

Once we receive and inspect the return we will then issue you your refund through your original payment method. You will receive an email to confirm that the refund has been issued.

Please note that we offer a free drop off returns service to customers in Ireland, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden & UK.

How do I use the Free DPD Drop Off Point Returns Service?

If you live in the Republic of Ireland, Moon Behind the Hill offers a free drop off parcel return service through our partners at DPD. To avail of this free returns service simply follow the easy steps below:

  1. Please email customerservices@moonbehindthehill.ie to request a return. Please include your order number, date of purchase, details on item(s) you wish to return and the reason for your return request.
  2. Once we have established the correct customer, order and return item we will review your request and assuming it satisfies the conditions above we will email you a return shipping label. 
  3. Please package your return item ensuring that it is sealed and secure. If you are repackaging the item in the original package you received it in please ensure that the original shipping delivery labels are removed or covered.
  4. Print off your DPD shipping label emailed to you in step 2 above and attach it securely to your parcel ensuring the barcodes, addresses and tracking details are clear and visible.
  5. Locate a DPD Pick Up Point location near you that suits your needs. To find your best suited location select the link here. Most DPD Pick Up Point locations are participating retail outlets, such as a convenience store or petrol station that serves as a convenient and efficient DPD parcel retrieval location where you can drop off labelled and prepaid DPD Parcels.
  6. Once you have located your most suited DPD Pick Up Point location, simply bring your labelled parcel to the location where it will be safely stored and depending on what time you dropped it off will be collected the same or next working day by DPD. If the location is an automatic kiosk locker simply follow the onscreen instructions for returns drop off.
  7. That's it your done. You can follow your return using the tracking number through DPD's tracking portal. Once we receive and inspect the return we will then issue you your refund through your original payment method. You will receive an email to confirm that the refund has been issued.

How do I use the Free UPS Access Points Returns Service?

If you live in Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden or United Kingdom, Moon Behind the Hill offers a free drop off parcel return service through our partners at UPS via their UPS Access Points service. To avail of this free returns service simply follow the easy steps below:

1. Please email customerservices@moonbehindthehill.ie to request a return. Please include your order number, date of purchase, details on item(s) you wish to return and the reason for your return request.

2. Once we have established the correct customer, order and return item we will review your request and assuming it satisfies the conditions above we will email you a return shipping label. 

3. Please package your return item ensuring that it is sealed and secure. If you are repackaging the item in the original package you received it in please ensure that the original shipping delivery labels are removed or covered.

4. Print off your UPS shipping label emailed to you in step 2 above and attach it securely to your parcel ensuring the barcodes, addresses and tracking details are clear and visible.

5. Locate a UPS Access Point or Drop Off location near you that suits your needs. To find your best suited location select the link here. UPS Access point locations are participating retail outlets, such as a convenience store or petrol station that serves as a convenient and efficient UPS parcel delivery and retrieval location where you can drop off labelled and prepaid UPS Parcels.

6. Once you have located your most suited UPS drop off location, simply bring your labelled parcel to the location where it will be safely stored and depending on what time you dropped it off will be collected the same or next working day by UPS. If the location is an automatic kiosk locker simply follow the onscreen instructions for returns drop off.

7. That's it your done. You can follow your return using the tracking number through UPS's tracking portal. Once we receive and inspect the return we will then issue you your refund through your original payment method. You will receive an email to confirm that the refund has been issued.

Can I exchange an item?

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you havefollowing our returns policies, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Can I return items purchased with a Moon Behind the Hill gift card?

Yes, you can return items bought with a gift card, however you will be refunded back onto your original Moon Behind the Hill gift card.

Can I return personalised or custom made items?

No, unfortunately once an item has been personalised or custom made for your specific order this makes it non-returnable.

How will my refund be processed?

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Oh no! Please try resetting your password initially. If this still doesn't work please contact our Customer Service team with your account details and we'll try and help!

Do I need to set up an account to make an order?

No, if you do not want to set up an account with us we have the option to checkout as a guest. All you'll need is your contact and shipping information!

How do I reset my Password?

If you can't remember your password, we'll need to reset that for you. Simply click here and follow the instructions to change it.

Is my personal information kept private?
